Elsa has loved being swaddled since she was born. She wouldn't sleep during naps or at night unless she was swaddled. She just loved being tight in a little ball and all snuggly warm! Chad and I have been trying to break her swaddle habit gradually. We tried everything - swaddling her with one arm out to get her used to it, we tried both arms out, and then she wouldn't sleep. So we had to go back to the full swaddle. This week she decided she didn't want to be swaddled at all anymore, but that meant she also wouldn't sleep! It was a rough week for naps and night time, but last night she slept all night long without being swaddled! Here are some pictures to commemorate our journey with Elsa's beloved swaddle. :)

And the habit continued from here. Every nap and bedtime from here on out she was swaddled. So here are some pictures of the process we went through trying to break the swaddle habit.

| "Aha! I got my hand out!" |
 |
| "This is my new trick once I figured out how to get both of my arms out!" |
 |
| "But Mommy I am not tired anymore because my arms came out of my swaddle!" |
Here are some pictures of her now that the habit has been broken!

| This is the new position she likes to sleep in. |

| And this is how she woke up after a night of not being swaddled. |
We're so proud of her for this big transition!
