Fourth of July

What a wonderful weekend!  Chad had Friday and Monday off and we were able to spend lots of quality, fun time together as a family.  Friday was very rainy and a little cool, so we spent time inside at Sandy Pines and just a little time outside.  Saturday was HOT, but beautiful.  Elsa did pretty well with the hot temperatures.  Chad and I spent some time in the kayaks - the lake was pretty busy with boats and the waves were pretty big to be in the kayaks, but we still had a great time.  Elsa even got to see her first parade - the Fourth of July parade at Sandy Pines (not exactly a "real" parade - but a good starter parade).  Elsa and her cousin Elijah got to spend just a little time together - they're so cute together.

Fun kayaking...

We spent Sunday and Monday just taking it easy at home.  Beautiful days to just relax and spend time outside.  Elsa is doing so much better outside.  She's adjusted to having wind on her face and loves being in her stroller like a "big girl".  She got to spend a little more time in her whale pool too!
At home with Daddy (look at how big she looks here!)

Getting ready for a walk

"Surprise Mommy!  I got both of my hands out of my swaddle at nap!!"

So happy!

Going for another walk...what beautiful weather!
