Sali Christmas

We went to my Dad's and celebrated Christmas today.  It was a bit of a different Christmas for us because Eric, Tiffany, and Hayden were not there.  Hayden just came home from the hospital yesterday and they needed to adjust to life as a family.  Having a two year old and an almost-one year old sure made things crazy.  Makiya ripped the paper off every present she could find.  We didn't even know who they were for half the time!  She was just so excited to get the paper off and then she'd see a brown or white box and say "ooohhh!" and then drop it and move on to the next.  :)  While this was happening Elsa found the water jug Grandpa uses to water the Christmas tree and the basket full of pine cones.  So she was happy making a giant mess!  Even with the chaos of the two little girls all over, we had a wonderful time!

Pardon Elsa's Christmas dress.  It's super cute and has the bubble bottom to it, but it didn't work very well for such an active baby.  The bubble part kept coming up as she'd crawl around and she spent half the day with her little bum (in tights) hanging out!  :)

Elsa got her "Elsa 2011" ornament and was very excited...
to touch it...
and hold it.

This is before she figured out how to take the cap off.  She was quite content sitting back there and playing with the jug.

New books!
