Having SO Much Fun!

Our first week of Christmas vacation has been SO much fun!  I have loved every minute of being home with my little peanut (almost a big one year old, but right now she's still my little peanut!).  We started giving Elsa dishes during her meals.  The first day the plate was more of a toy (see below).  Today she actually got her spoon in her yogurt and then made it in her mouth!  She was pretty proud of herself and of course it helped that Mommy and Daddy cheered for her.
It was fun to play peek-a-boo with her plate.
Pardon the hair style...once hair is smooshed with food it's quite the look! :)
And more peek-a-boo!
Elsa is starting to be more interested in her books.  She's so busy that it's hard to get her to sit down and actually listen to a story.  But her attention span is growing and once she's pulled all of her books off the shelves she will open a few and turn the pages.  :)

She also helped us wrap Christmas presents this week.  Mostly she unrolled all of the wrapping paper rolls, sat in the tubs, and pulled apart bows, but she had fun exploring.  Christmas presents may be a little "wrinkly" this year!  ;)

Elsa's hair is long enough for a cute little pony tail!  Most of the time she'll leave it in, unlike her bows.  She started wearing headbands the day she came home from the hospital and basically wore one every day.  Once her hair grew we started putting bows it and she wore those.  Over the last couple of months she pulls them out the second I get them in her hair.  So now that her hair is long enough for the pony tail I started doing those and she usually doesn't touch them.  Every now and again she does and then her hair ends up looking like this...

No mousse needed...just pull out the pony and it stands up all by itself!
