One Month Old

Today Gavin is one month old!  I truly cannot believe it!  The first couple of weeks of his life are just a blur as we adjusted to a newborn and a toddler.  These past couple of weeks we've gotten into more of a routine and are figuring out how to be a family of four. 

Hanging out outside is tiring!  

Gavin - here are your one month memories:

*You love to eat!  You are nursing about every 2 hours and nurse for 30-45 minutes each time.  
*During the day you take little cat naps here and there, nothing too regular yet.  At night you just started sleeping in your bassinet and are sleeping pretty well.  You usually sleep 3-4 hours at the start of your night before you wake up hungry.  Then you usually sleep 2-3 hours for the next stretch and then you're usually up for the day (even if it is only 5 a.m.!).  
*You are wearing newborn diapers, but are just about ready to move up to size one diapers.
*You are getting close to outgrowing your newborn clothes and are just about ready to move up to 0-3 month clothes.
*You weigh 10 pounds.
*You love to sit in the bouncer - whether you're asleep or awake.  Sometimes you like this more than being held.
*You also like laying on the floor and looking up at the lights.  
*Tummy time isn't your favorite, but you do a great job lifting your head up off the floor.  
*You are a noisy baby!  You love to grunt and make all kinds of noises whether you're asleep or awake.  You are just starting to make a few "oohh" and "aahh" noises.
*You've spent some good time outside enjoying the fall weather in the stroller.  
*You have a big sister who loves you very much and likes to give you hugs and kisses.
