Today we had Elsa's first birthday party with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Elsa has a little cold, some teeth trying to pop through, and was a little overwhelmed with all the people focusing their attention on her. She had some points where she wouldn't smile and other times when she kept clapping, smiling, and talking. It was a lot of fun to celebrate her birthday with our family members (although we missed Auntie Tara, Uncle Eric, Auntie Tiffany, and Hayden).

After she opened all her wonderful presents it was time for cake.

| She wanted to touch the cake once the candle was lit and it made me a little nervous, so we left it on the table while singing "Happy Birthday". |

| She definitely liked the frosting and picked it up by the handfuls to put into her mouth. |

| Then she clapped and frosting flew everywhere. |

| She had a lot of fun! |
