Our first weekend was a lot of fun, but busy with driving, hotels, eating out, and Disney. So on Monday after more swimming time at our Disney resort, we headed to my Grandma's house in Bradenton for the rest of our week. It was such a relaxing, calm week. Just what our family needed! We had amazing weather and went swimming at the pool twice a day, spent time walking and playing outside, going to the beach, playing at the splash park, and just enjoying relaxing and some down time.
We, of course, visited Mixon's right away to get some fresh squeeze OJ and some orange ice cream!
We spent a lot of time swimming. The kids did so well and improved so much this year. Elsa swam all the way across the pool without her floaty and Gavin did a lot of swimming with his face in the water.

| Gavin loved swimming with the noodles. |
We spent time at the beach and had a lot of fun building sandcastles, finding sea shells, and playing in the ocean.
The beach tuckered them right out!
We love the Sand Bar restaurant! As soon as the kids were done eating they went and played in the sand!
We discovered Yogurt Mountain and enjoyed some yummy frozen yogurt!

One morning we found a park with a splash pad. The kids had a lot of fun playing and running around in the water!
We left early Saturday morning and headed home. We were sad to leave, but ready to be home too. Our drive home was much less rainy than the drive there. The kids went swimming in the hotel (because they obviously didn't swim enough in Florida! :) ). We got home around noon today.
Such a fantastic trip!
