We went on a little trip this weekend to a fun hotel in Grand Rapids that has a mini water park! The kids were so excited to go to a water park and get to sleep there too! We headed out on Friday (my snow day from school allowed us to get ready early!) and played at the water park for a couple of hours, had a late supper, and then had fun eating snacks and watching TV all together in the giant bed.

Elsa did a great job swimming all by herself in the big pool! She could get in and get out and move around without our help!

Sleeping was a little interesting...Gavin was wide awake...still at 9:30! Elsa had fallen asleep a little before 9:00 watching TV (this was incredibly late for both of them!). So we kept Elsa in bed with us and Gavin moved to his pack and play and then slept good. Elsa was up by 5 and Gavin up at 6. So we had a long morning, but enjoyed a warm breakfast together and then some snuggles and then more pool time before heading home.
Elsa and Gavin loved the phones in our room, they were constantly "calling" each other and seeing if the other one was having a good day, a good attitude, or asking what they were thankful for.

It was at the Holiday Inn Express in Grand Rapids! Such a fun place for little ones! :)
