Gavin is 18 months old!

Where did the last year and a half go!?  I cannot believe Gavin is one and a half already!  He is such a fun, energetic, loving, cuddly little guy!  It's fun to see him growing and learning so much.  He is so excited about life and he gives us so much joy when he discovers something new.  He loves Elsa to pieces and follows her around, listens to her (most of the time - even when it's not a good idea!), and loves to play with her.  We're so thankful for him in our lives and love our little family of four!

Gavin - here are your 18 month memories:
*You weigh 328 pounds 10 ounces and are 32 1/2 inches tall!
*You take one nap a day and sleep for at least two hours, sometimes more.
*You sleep great a night.  You usually go to sleep around 7:30 and will sleep until 6:30/7:00
*You have a new obsession with your blankets and cannot get out of your crib in the morning unless you've gathered all your blankets (at least two and sometimes three or four) to bring along.
*You love your paci and your lovie.  You call your paci "me-me".
*You are a picky eater...you love fruits and veggies and whole grains, but are much more hesitant about all other food!  It's kind of driving Mommy nuts!  :)
*You like reading books at bedtime and enjoy reading: Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?, Baby's Bible Friends, and Old McDonald.
*You like animals and make a lot of different animals sounds.  You know the sounds for: horse, cow, sheep, pig, lion/tiger/bear, dog, and cat.
*You are learning the Zoo Phonics friends and enjoy talking about "Ally Alligator" and "PeeWee Penguin".  You make the motion for both of these and get really excited!
*You love to sing and dance!  Any time there's music, you're dancing!  You really like to sing "B-I-B-L-E", "Bumping Up and Down in my Little Red Wagon", and "Old McDonald".
*You're great a putting together puzzles.  You especially like the colorful shape puzzle.
*You really like watching Barney, Mickey Mouse, and Oomie Zoomie.
*You're beginning to say more words.  You really like "B" words.  Some of the words you say are:  ball, baby, bowl, bye-bye, Mommy, Daddy, Nana, Papa, Elsa, apple, Abby (a friend at school), please, all gone, mine, and me.

Gavin you're such a sweet little boy.  We're so thankful to have you in our lives.  We pray and hope for you to be a strong and healthy child of God.  We love you!
