What a wonderful day we had today celebrating Jesus's birthday! The days leading up to Christmas have been a lot of fun with Elsa. We've talked a lot about Jesus's birth and why we give gifts at Christmas. We even talked about why Jesus doesn't get gifts at Christmas since it's His birthday. We were pretty surprised with the amount she retained and could talk to us about it in the days that followed. And it's been refreshing to us as well to really be able to focus on the reason we celebrate Christmas.
We had a nice, low-key morning just opening and playing with gifts at home.

Then we headed to Nana and Papa's for presents and an afternoon of yummy food and hanging out. The kids got a "jump-o-line" from Nana and Papa and are super excited for Daddy to put it together in our basement - where it will stay until we can move it outside in the spring.

Then we attempted some cousin photos and one with TT - this is about the best we got. By this time Gavin had lost his Christmas sweater and Elsa got to put on some comfies rather than her Christmas dress.
What a blessed day rejoicing in the birth of our Lord and Savior!
