Today Gavin is three months old - I really cannot believe he's this old already! He is definitely growing and is beginning to interact with us more. He loves Elsa - anytime he hears her voice he just grins from ear to ear. He is cooing and giggling a lot and is a very content baby - for the most part. Napping has become a bit more of a struggle lately, but sleeping at night time is going really well.
Gavin - here are your three month memories:
*You weigh 15 pounds and you are 24 inches long.
*You are wearing 3-6 month clothes and size 3 diapers.
*During the day you nurse every three hours and thankfully you've finally decided to eat a bit faster.
*You're awake for about an hour and a half at a time and then start to get sleepy.
*You nap for 20-30 minutes on your own and then wake up and refuse to go back to sleep without help. This is becoming quite the struggle during the day - especially with Little Miss Elsa helping! Every now and again you'll nap for 45 minutes on your own and then wake up and need help getting back to sleep. You're notorious for waking up as soon as we sit down to eat a meal.
*At night you usually go to bed anywhere between 9:00 and 10:00 and sleep until 3:00 or 4:00 and then go back to sleep and sleep until somewhere between 7:00 and 8:00 (you haven't settled into that "strict" of a schedule yet).
*You like to be swaddled for naps and bedtime.
*You like to play on your activity mat. You love the bright colors and toys hanging from it. Elsa loves to snuggle in next to you on this and play with you.
*You like to do tummy time while laying on Daddy's tummy looking at him and talking.
*You coo and giggle a lot.
*Your smiles melt our hearts! You get so excited when someone is close to you talking to you and you show it by your big smiles!
*You like to take baths, but you do not like getting out of the tub. You get SO mad when it's time to get out and get dressed.
